I recently began reading ++Williams stuff as well, beginning with &lt;em&gt;Christian Spirituality&lt;/em&gt; (which is apparently &lt;em&gt;Wound of Knowledge&lt;/em&gt; under an earlier title.) His intelligence, insight, and originality are impressive, but what really stands out for me is the sense of humility in his writing.
